Got back home on Sunday. I've decided to ditch University for another three years and get a full-time job in web development. I'm really excited. I had my first interview today in Manchester for a company called
Unicom who wants me to manage their internal and external Internet presence
(well, not me personally, just the job description). They obviously use Microsoft technology in their offices and use Visual Studio and ASP.NET for the website development. At least 300 employees were in this one building. Seems quite a big established business. My only downfall is that I'll be travelling to Manchester for about three months in my car every day
(about 50 miles there, 50 miles back) there and back. This is ofcourse until I find a flat closer to the company.
Northing's set in stone though. I'm still looking for more jobs being advertised and sending my CV off everywhere I can, then awaiting replies or enquires. I'm trying to find one closer to home which is what my parents want me to do.
I'm not exactly sure if this was the right thing to do. But life's all about taking risks. I'll get nowhere pondering the thought. I hope I made the right choice.
When I left my halls, a few of my halls mates helped us out.
Love you guys! Missing you so much already!
