On the spur of the moment I booked a trip to Amsterdam on Monday. Me and a friend got on a ferry to Holland and took a coach into Amsterdam.

What a trip, lol. It was all that, but it's something to do. Space muffins, weed, marijuana, window women. You name it, we saw it all. I have got some pictures of the trip, but I'm waiting on a camera lead to put them on my computer.

There's a picture of a homeless guy! :D He asked for cash and I said "I'll give you two euros if you get your picture taken!" -- There was a little haggling as he wanted 3 euros, but I stood my ground, and got my way (like I always do).

I'm obviously back in the UK now and building Neoboffin Network's new website. Its coming along quite groovy actually. It uses Ajax and has backup options for those users who don't have JavaScript enabled. It's flawless!

Since I first looked at my search key phrases around 2 months ago (i think), I took alook at them again today and let's see what comes up.

In total 202 search keyphrases were searched in December, 2006.

9% of those were searches for 'neoboffins'
6% searched for 'free flash games'
4.6% searched for 'blast billards'
3.2% searched for my name, 'steven sullivan'.

Just from those statistics I can say that my name and 'Neoboffins' are top searches. Nothing really can be done to increase traffic by those keyphrases. However, 'free flash games' and 'blast billards' (which is another game) can be dealt with. Perhaps I might place the keywords "Free Flash Games" on one of my mini advertisement banners just above (which I added yesterday in order to promote my tiny project work). In another month I could see where exactly my search engine positioning is for those keyphrases, etc, etc. Perhaps a direct link to 'blast billards' might help me gain more traffic too. Genius!

Some rather weird and funny keyphrases were:

tintin dubbed
trojan.dumaru (no idea how that got here; I've never discussed it)
quiet a noisy machine
toy guns that shoot cans
jordan katie prices lingerie
in a hot room all the people feel cold. why?

One that freaked me out the most was little girl underwear models. I feel quite embarrassed that, that keyphrase directs visitors to this website.

I'm having serious problems in trying to understand what career path I really want to take at university. I'm already the second semester in and I don't like my course.

I had a little chat with a few people today who basically told me to decide quickly because January deadlines for accepting students on January courses is coming to an end.

Following the chat with a few people, I had a little chat with a careers adviser and she told me to come back tomorrow and complete a computer test which will ask me around 150 questions on what I like/dislike and then return a number of results of what jobs fit my match. After that, it's an intense talk with her to try figure out exactly what I want to do with my life.

It's funny that two courses I should be interested in, I'm not. It leads me to believe that I don't like my university. I love the city Derby, but do I really like the university? -- The courses seem to bore me, which is never a good sign. Why didn't I see this coming?

The careers adviser has also told me to ask friends and family what they see me as career wise. So far, I've had: Sandwich Packer, Sales Person, Management, Stripper, Public Relations, Biologist, Pilot (I like this. R.A.F army only), Hospitality Management, Model and a Nightclub Manager/Owenr. The list has not yet ended. I can't obviously ask you guys out there since you don't really know me as well as my friends and family, but I hope I finally find something worth doing.

If not, it's full-time work! If I have to start my preferred course in September, I think I might switch Universities. I'll certainly have to do all that hiking around again!

Job hunting has begun!

I, like many other students have to find a job. It's quite annoying to find out that all the jobs have been taken. There's alot of bar work available but I'm not sure I want to do that. I don't have training for it, but those that require no training (mainly in pubs) I can apply for.

I'm going to start going out to individual shops and ask if there's any work available. My CV's ready and really, that's all they might need. I'll tell you something though; I hate the way for each job you have to fill out an application form. It's sooo annoying.

Right, well for my first post I'm going to make a nice long article about chavs, the main subject about them is they suck.

To start of, who came up with the type chav, who ever they are they should be shot dead, I'm in year 11 of high school, and i was waiting outside my systems and control class waiting to go in when some chav walks up to me and starts shouting at me for looking at him, true i did look at him a second ago, but only because he had a hat on funny and his tie was round his waste and his shirt half undone and it made me laugh.

What a Christmas. Ever since I've got back from Derby, the atmosphere at home has been quite exciting. I've been out and about, to Bradford Rios, visiting the family and it's been quite amazing.

I've decided to head back to Derby on the 3rd January. I did a little bit of shopping today and went into Pets At Home with my mum. I've decided I want another hamster! No idea how I will get one because in Halls of residence you're not allowed a pet. But I'm the legendary Steven Sullivan (and my friends would most definitely agree), so I'm going to ask my halls manager if I can get one. I hope it works. I want a fluffy friend! Even if it doesn't work, I'm sure I can still get one. There's workarounds!

I found some 10 or 11 days free on World of Warcraft too. I started to play it a bit because one of my Swedish friends plays it. It's not actually all that bad.

Anywho, gotta shoot. Another dinner to attend to.

Those who get snow, I envy you, but there's still time for snow so I'm holding out!

I have to see the dreaded dentist in like 10 minutes! I hate the dentist and not because I don't like needles or anything because I actually quite like them. I like to watch what's happening like when my toe nail was getting cut down the side of my toe. Was fun to watch. Anywho! This is the flippin' tooth that I have been waiting to get fixed for weeks now. After like 7 trips to dentists, It's finally going to get fixed! Yeeha!

Well, red is the new blue and my business Neoboffin Hosting is going to turn red next year! I'm making a sleek, glossy, red design that I hope will work. Still in the making, it should look quite cool. Neoboffin Hosting has been going over a year now. It was started last October (i think around the 18th) and I totally forgot to give my clients a free months hosting. Instead because it's far too late to do that, those who have stayed with me since October, I increased their bandwidth and disk space allocation. I think I should do something for Christmas though. I'm just not sure what. Any ideas?
